Beam hoses and how to protect them and your home!

·         The premium low-voltage central vacuum hose is available in 30, 36, 40 or 50-foot lengths and is a best seller.  It creates 27% more suction than standard hoses and can swivel 360 degrees.  It has a two-way dual switching on/off control which will allow you easily to turn it on and off with the flip of a switch. 
·         The economy low-voltage central vacuum hose is available in 30 or 35-foot length.  It has a gas pump style handle and a 360-degree swivel design.

There are two basic hoses for the Beam Central Vacuum System.

·         The basic straight suction central vacuum hose is available in a 20, 25, 30, 42 or 50-foot length and is the best value for your money.  It increases suction by 20% and has a metal lock button lock with an air relieve valve.
·         The Beam / Electrolux Standard crushproof hose comes in a 35-foot length and offers a 360-degree swivel design. It offers basic straight suction with an air relief bleeder valve.

When you purchase a hose for your Beam Central Vacuum it is very important that you also purchase a VacSoc-Protective Hose Sock.  It helps protect your hose from kinking or tangling.  This hose sock will also protect your furniture, baseboards, and walls from becoming damaged to being rubbed or banged by the hose.  If you do not use this hose sock, your furniture, baseboards, and walls can become scuffed, dinged, chipped, scratched, or dented while you vacuum.
